We concluded with the dessert buffet, which included two types of cookies, two pies, and a huge plate with various smaller desserts, plus fruit. "Amazingly", we all suddenly had room for multiple dessert items. The ginger cookies were the biggest success in my book.

Our family has visited McLoone's for our Thanksgiving feast. We have been in the neighborhood often but never entered the venue, so we were not sure what to expect. To our delight, McLoone's prepared several excellent options.

Overall still a Fabulous place to go!

You now may order mixed drinks with HOUSE LIQUOR at a very reasonable price. The Happy Hour appetizer list seems to have been reduced also.

I love the ambiance, the decor & the views at McLoone's Boathouse. We typically have gone there for Happy hour. It had been at least a year since I had visited.

Outdoor seating has great views of the lake. Good burger choices, the black bean patty was full of flavor. Fries very well seasoned. Prices are very reasonable. Server was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. A great place for a business lunch.

When we went the other day, we discovered they eliminated the happy hour drink list! BUMMER! They formally served top shelf drinks at reduced prices. GONE...oh well.

McLoone's Thanksgiving feast was fantastic. All five of us (three adults, a 6yo and a very picky 4yo!) enjoyed it. I recommend it and we will consider visiting again during the year or for next Thanksgiving.

The food has been excellent. All of the options we picked were between tasty and delicious. The consensus at the table was that the salmon is the star of the show. In addition, I personally liked the various bread options and the cauliflower.

I actually want to give 5 stars but what has me so turned out is, I come to the bar areas, inside and outside for adult time! That fact that McLoone's allow babies and under aged children to run around in these ares is quite disappointing! There are plenty of beautiful seating outside of these areas for family time. I realize "adult" time is important to us all but a BAR is not intend for babies or under aged children!

The feast was buffet-style, and included appetizers (bread, hummus, cheese and sausage), many sides (sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, turnips and cauliflower in different styles, and more), salmon, and sliced turkey. In addition, the carving station offered turkey and ham, and there was a separate children's meal with nuggets, pasta, and french fries.

Drinks, service, and decor are all very good, but you eat out for the food and that earned one star because the food was hot. Had mahi-mahi which was dry and flavorless with the worst mashed potatoes and asparagus thick as tree limbs. My wife's burger was dry and the fries flavorless. Expensive for what you get Not recommended, won't go back.
