I love walking around this area. It's beautiful. There are plenty of chairs and benches to sit and hang out around the water. It's super clean. There is a large playground for the kids with a boating theme and it seems the water is stocked as well, there were plenty of people fishing! I can't wait to visit in the summer. *also keep in mind there is no biking or roller blading but, there were quite a few scooters, loopholes.
The lake has beautiful fountains. The walkway is lined with trees.
The absolute best place in this section of NJ if you want to spend some great outdoor time with your family. Period.

The kids play area is about the best once in this whole big area. I haven't come across a better play area for kids.
You can rent paddle boats and have some boating and get some exercise at the same time.

There is a nice sitting area that is some times reserved for private parties. There are lots of benches to rest, and lounge chairs to just enjoy the lake views.
The walk around the orange reservoir is one of the best outdoor walks in this area. It is 2 miles, mostly flat, very pleasant, a bit crowded and fabulous - all at the same time.
Very clean park with 2 miles trail around a reservoir. Play area for little children. Plenty of parking.
